RPM PODCAST EPISODE 1 – GRAHAM NASH AND ALEC BYRNE

For Episode 1 we’re pleased to be able to bring you a conversation with Graham Nash and Alec Byrne. Graham is the legendary co-founder of the Hollies and Crosby, Stills and Nash, and an accomplished photographer in his own right. Alec covered the London music scene in the late ’60s and early ’70s, his archive a lost treasure that sat hidden away in his garage for close to 40 years.

Their wide-ranging conversation covers their shared experience leaving England for California; the pitfalls of music photography in the digital age; the magic of the dark room; Graham’s involvement in the development of digital printing; the prospect of retirement; the reason why so much good music came out of England in the late ’60s; The Beatles, David Bowie, Joni Mitchell, Jimi Hendrix, the Animals, Elvis; a new collaboration between Graham and his former Hollies bandmate Allan Clarke; and more.

The podcast will soon be available from Apple Music, Stitcher, Spotify and other platforms. In the meantime you can listen to it here. You can also subscribe, by pasting the link below into your podcast app of choice, and find out about new episodes as soon as they’re released.
